WATER SUSTAINABILITY INITIATIVE

We all need water but our water supplies are limited, around 97.5% water is in oceans and rest 2.5% is fresh water which is not sufficient. Our 68% of fresh water is locked in Ice & glaciers, 30% is ground water and rest 2% is surface water i.e rivers & lakes. This water is used by Agriculture, Industries and Household purposes.

As per WHO, 0.007% water is safe for consumption and around 1.2 billion people lives in water scarce area. By 2025- half of the world’s population will be living in water-stressed area. In the last decades, water consumption has increased 6 times and supplies are the same.

FarmDirect has developed & developing its “CAUTION SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS ACTIVITIES” and taken steps to re-claim of water usage through our process

In the valley of hills, Hindustan Farm Direct stands as a beacon of sustainable innovation. With a daily production of 15 tonnes of Solid organic waste and 50 thousand litres of liquid discharge from its extraction processes, the company faced a challenge – how to manage this waste efficiently while continuing to uphold its commitment to clean and green environmental approach

Instead of Putting the waste into landfills and draining water into sources Hindustan FarmDirect embarked on a journey of ingenuity and resourcefulness. Enter the Briquettes Plant – a cutting-edge facility designed to transform solid organic waste into a valuable resource for clean energy production. With a staggering capacity to manufacture 20 tonnes of briquettes per day, With respect Briquettes Plant Company also integrated advanced closed-loop distillation system With a water recovery capacity of 60 thousand litres per day this plant represented a bold step towards sustainability,

Our daily Process organic waste, once it went to land fillings considered a matter of zero use, was now transformed into clean energy in the form of briquettes, powering boilers for steam generation which will further use for water recovery through distillation plant ensuring that every drop of water should utilized efficiently, minimizing waste and maximizing resource efficiency.

By implementing a closed-loop distillation, and Briquettes Plant Hindustan FarmDirect minimizes its reliance on freshwater by recovering its 90% of daily water, and 100 Percent of its Solid organic waste, both practices reduces the strain on local water resources, and reliance on fossil fuels, thereby lowering total carbon emissions through its practices, which leads to save water, Preventing water scarcity
